C Major Guitar Key
C major is the cleanest key for learning how a major scale becomes seven diatonic chords. On guitar it combines five common open chords with D minor and B diminished.

Use C as home, G as the strongest point of tension and Am as the relative minor. The I IV V and I V vi IV progressions are immediate practical starting points.
